CMS Electives Course Selection Process
CMS is beginning the 2024-2025 course selection process for current 7th grade students as well as for 6th grade students who will attend CMS next year. Current 8th grade students (future 9th grade students) can find their course selection materials via the CHS website. The course selection process allows students to pick their courses for the upcoming school year.
One piece of this process centers on creating a wide variety of elective courses for middle school students to take. Combs Middle School students will have several exciting elective course options to choose from during the school year. These courses include:

- Band
- Careers and Your Future
- Chorus
- Coding
- Computer Applications
- FACS
- Graphic Design
- Photography
- Physical Education
- Orchestra
- Spanish
- Theater and Stagecraft
- TV/Film Production
- Weight Training
- Yearbook
These elective offerings will allow CMS to develop a pathway to current courses CHS offers.
Course selection for the next school year kicks off in January for all incoming 7th and 8th grade students. CMS is excited to assist students and their families with their planning for the upcoming school year!
